Hey sis,
Happy new month! Over the next few weeks, you’re going to see a ton of content telling you to do this and that for 2025. You’ll also start to see recaps of the year, with awesome achievements and incredible lessons learnt. People’s experiences and stories are valid. But sometimes, the content can feel overwhelming, and it can feel like you achieved nothing at all this year. This can be quite difficult to navigate. While I don’t have all the answers, what I can tell you is that you are here. You are here, reading this letter in a year that was incredibly difficult for women and Nigerians, both emotionally and economically. You are here. And if this is all you did this year (and sis, I really doubt it - give yourself credit), you did great!
I hope you will find rest, relaxation, and joy amidst the celebrations, reflection, and planning for the next year. Taking some time to rest is valid. Sis, you are so full of wonder.
