A $500 grant for women, Victoria's friendship story, study at Cambridge for free and Microsoft is hiring!
5 minutes read
Hey sis,
As the Sisterly Love series comes to an end, I can’t help but think of all the amazing women who have held the door open for me and given me a seat at the table. Even the women I’d probably never see again, who returned my smiles and told me my outfit was amazing as I walked across a random street! Sis - here’s what I want you to do today. I want you to text or call the women in your life. Tell them how much they mean to you, and how grateful you are for and to them. Give them their flowers.
A snapshot of this week’s letter
Victoria’s friendship with Nife.
A software engineering role at Microsoft.
We found three opportunities for three sisters!

Stories
Sisterly Love: Victoria’s Friendship Story
In the third episode, Victoria talks about Nife, a friend who has stuck with her through thick and thin. She also talks about the movie, Moxie and how it inspires her to embrace friendships with people she has little in common with.
‘She confessed she went to work because she saw that I was struggling financially and needed help. She had planned to give me the salary so I could add to whatever I had to pay my fees.’
On Loss, Grief, and Recovery - Hairam Iwnas
In this story, Hairam writes about what happens when life happens. This is a story of courage and resilience in the face of hearts shattered into tiny pieces. A story of emerging from the deep, no matter its depth.
‘You simply floated through the day without noticing anything or anyone. You became a distant shadow and people who knew you said you had changed. You didn’t care. You were exhausted’.
