Sis to sis, a $1500 internship, scholarships to the US, and 50 million for entrepreneurs!
5 minutes read
Hey sis,
I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I had a great time off, but it’s so great to be back in your inbox.
Recently, I’ve been thinking about how, sometimes, the hardest part of building a career and levelling up isn’t doing the work. Let’s be real, sis. You probably have a degree, maybe a good 2:1, some strong skills, and the passion to deliver.
It’s figuring out what work to even start with. It’s wondering if you’re aiming high enough, applying for the right things, and moving at the right speed. It’s Googling fastest and cheapest way to japa at 2AM and asking Chat GPT to give you feedback on your cover letter... and still feeling stuck.
Today’s newsletter is a really special one, and sis… I hope you never forget: Your career goals, dreams, ambitions, even the ones that seem too crazy to say out loud, are worth it.
Ps: Hidden throughout this letter are links to 18 highly valuable opportunities, including an internship offering $1500, fully-funded scholarships, over 50 million in grants, a program for women on a career break, and more. Think of it as a little treasure hunt. Your next opportunity could be one click away!
But Sis to Sis:
Are you building the career you want or just collecting options you’re too tired to chase?
Are you chasing clarity or waiting for the perfect time that never seems to come?
Let’s start with a quick 10-second check:
☐ I open scholarship and grant websites… and close them immediately because everything feels overwhelming.
☐ I promised myself I’d update my CV… back in January.
☐ I check Sisterly HQ’s newsletter every week, and I’ve saved five different opportunities but haven’t applied to any yet.
☐ I’m tired of writing applications that go nowhere.
☐ It’s salary week, and once again, I haven’t invested in anything that grows my career.
☐ I’m grateful for my job, but deep down, I know I want more.
☐ I’m scared I don’t have enough experience for the things I really want.
☐ I keep seeing people announce new jobs and opportunities and wondering, ‘When will it be my turn?’
☐ I’m doing everything right at work, but still feel invisible when it’s time for promotions or salary bumps.
☐ I feel like I’m almost ready, but somehow, I’ve been almost ready for a year.
☐ I’m carrying work, family, expectations, and trying to adult. I am tired.
If you felt called out by 3 or more of these….. Sis, you’re overdue for real career support.
